Cleaner (Enhanced DBS needed)
Do you have an Enhanced DBS and are you looking for either a part time shift or some extra hours ontop of your current job?
Brownlee Cale are looking for a cleaner to work Monday to Friday 3pm to 6pm in Ashton Under Lyne, Manchester.
You MUST have an enhanced DBS and will not be considered for the role if not as it is working within Nursery's, Schools and Colleges - if you do not have a DBS, we can help you process one. (All cost of a DBS must be covered by the candidate)
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
As a Cleaner you will take day to day responsibility for all cleaning related duties to the premises of the sites and the ground. As a Cleaner you will be, delivering a professional & safe service supporting the facilities services teams. You will be responsible for the very high standard of cleanliness across the sites / area's you are assigned. You will be expected to cover holidays and sickness within the team. You will have the ability to work to targets and under pressure to achieve set outcomes in given time frames. The start & finish times may be varied to accommodate the needs of the business.
You MUST have an enhanced DBS and will not be considered for the role if not as it is working within Nursery's, Schools and Colleges - if you do not have a DBS, we can proceess one for you.
DUTIES
The job will involve but is not limited to:
sanitising
high level cleaning
setting up for meetings
daily management of vending machines
cleaning,
disinfecting toilets and sinks
cleaning canteen
emptying rubbish bins
hoovering carpets
cleaning fridges and work surfaces, tables etc in kitchen
touch point cleaning
GENERAL:
The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of all company policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the domestic services.
The above duties may involve having access to information of a confidential nature, which may be covered by the Data Protection Act. Confidentiality must be always maintained.
The post holder must be flexible to ensure the operational needs of the business are met. This includes the undertaking of duties of a similar nature and responsibility as and when required, throughout the various workplaces on site.
The post holder is to show, at all times, a personal commitment to treating all customers and colleagues in a fair and respectful way, which gives positive regard to people's differences and individuality (for example, their age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability or religion).
