Paralegal - Childcare
A highly regarded firm in Cambridgeshire is seeking a full time Childcare paralegal with a minimum of 1 years' experience on a full-time basis to work within their busy ever-growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pro-active and ambitious Childcare Paralegal to join a specialist team in the Cambridge area. Working within a team of lawyers, the successful paralegal will provide paralegal and legal support to a range of public sector and not for profit clients predominantly in respect of Children's Social Care and Safeguarding. This may also include other areas of legal practice where necessary. This role also offers a hybrid working opportunity.

Responsibilities
Supporting fee earners
Managing a case load comprising mainly of children's social care matters and private law Children Act matters
Preparing court bundles
Liaising with witnesses
Preparing applications
Drafting documents
Training and mentoring colleagues when required
Supporting the Legal Services management team
Advising clients
The Candidate
A minimum of 1 years' experience in this field
Willing to travel to other offices as required
Awareness of risks associated with the relevant areas of practice
Confident in building strong client relationships
Working well under pressure
Strong IT and communication skills
