Service Administrator

Safe Haven Sussex CIC provides accommodation and support to vulnerable single adults, who present with support needs. The role of the Service Administrator is to ensure that administrative processes and the office are working smoothly and efficiently. The Service Administrator will provide administrative support to the Safe Haven Sussex support team, this will include duties within the following:

Daily Responsibilities:

* To be available in the office Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

* To answer phone calls and pass on messages to the relevant teams

* To communicate with clients when required

* To respond to email enquiries

* To oversee administrative duties regarding referrals into the service

* To keep relevant client information updated

* To provide management with reports when requested

* To liaise with and provide administrative support to all of the relevant departments within the organisation

* To maintain the Health & Safety of the office area whilst ensuring the office is clean and tidy at all times

* To create agendas and keep minutes of meetings

* To adhere to SHS Policies and Procedures at all times

* To follow the GDPR and retention of data policies for the storage and disposal of client information

Requirements:

This role is varied and will require some level of understanding of how to support vulnerable individuals in the community. Therefore, the following is required:

* To have an enhanced DBS (this will be done on your behalf prior to start date)

* To be available during the hours agreed

* A full clean Driving Licence is desirable but not essential

* To attend training as and when required and as directed by management

* To attend staff meetings and briefings as required

* To attend regular work reviews with management as required.

Hours and Salary:

* Full time 35 hours per week

* Part Time/ Flexitime considered

* Salary: GBP19,000.00 per year
