Morson Talent are currently seeking to recruit a Semi-Skilled Operative to work for our well-respected Aerospace company based in Yeovil. This is initially on a 3-month contract basis with the likelihood of extension. Working hours set within a double-day weekly shift rotation. Early shift 06:00 - 14:00 / Late shift 14:00 - 22:00.
Description -
Semi-skilled operative required for a Bench Hand Operative:
Must have a finesse of using hand tools and powered rotary tools
Ability to complete operations with conformance to the job card and specified process sketches
Uphold compliance to Quality System Procedures by certifying the fulfilment of the operation by annotating the job card with an assigned operator's stamp.
The work activities will include:
De-burring of sharp material edges residual from machining operations to form features to castings, billets, and forged materials.
Hole drilling / countersinking by use of bespoke jig tools.
Blending machining witness marks.
Component identification part marking via methods of: letter stamping, pin stamping, vibro-etching, and ink & varnishing.
Following the listed priority loading boards as directed by the delivery's management / supervision.
Dispatch completed work to the next operation work centre as stated in the job card.
Monitoring and reporting identified issues relating to quality and conformance with escalation to supervision.
