A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced 1st line Support Engineer to work within the technical Support Team in a fast-paced managed service environment.
Must have 2+ years' experience working in a customer facing service desk environment. The main accountabilities of the role will be to support our customers end users and infrastructure, ensure excellent customer service and an efficient ticket lifecycle.
Key Responsibility
Resolution of incidents, and great customer satisfaction
Analysing, troubleshooting, and resolving operating system, system hardware, application, storage, virtualization and networking issues
Performing data backup and restore requests
Performing software and hardware upgrades
Providing status reporting and improvement recommendations
Adhering to change control policies and procedures
Consulting with vendors, suppliers and professional services.
Coordinating hardware maintenance and repairs with vendors
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about technology and possess an understanding and experience of desktop and infrastructure technologies.
Provide onsite support to a selection of our clients
Skills & Experience:
Must have 2+ years' experience working in a customer-facing service desk support role, ideally an MSP
Working knowledge of Microsoft technology at administrator level, including Windows Server, Azure, and Microsoft 365
Microsoft server product knowledge.
Be able to create and maintain operational support documentation
