Apple Resourcing UK Ltd are recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator for our client, an International supplier, on a full-time basis.
This is a 1 year fixed term contract with the view to go permanent, you will be working from home but will need to be flexible as travel to other locations will be required on occasion. Standard working hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Salary is NEG DOE.
Responsibilities;
* Support the UK & European Operations Manager in all aspects of project supply chain purchasing, including quotations, purchase orders, logistics, shipping import and export documentation, data entry into company's ERP system
* Issuing, monitoring and management of supplier Purchase Orders for projects and parts orders
* Liaise with Parts Sales, creating and managing quotations
* Provide efficient delivery logistics through data management: preparation and implementation of import, export, shipping and customs documentation with necessary follow-up
* Update and maintain inventories
* Liaise with suppliers; fabrication shops, import and export, packing contractors and freight agents
* Supplier Invoice management to support Accounts Payable process
* Collaborate with other departments, Engineering, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain
* Possible travel to supplier sites and Offices for training
Requirements:
* Customer service and purchasing experience
* Experience in ERP/CRM systems
* Remote Work with flexibility to travel to meetings
* Excel knowledge: required at an intermediate level
* Numeration skill; familiar with currency calculations, percentages, shipping weights/dimensions, accountancy terms and comfortable with technical terminology
* Solid written and spoken communication skills
* Detail oriented
* Proactive, highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
* Motivated self-starter
* Capable of both independent and teamwork
* Has a genuinely collaborative approach to working
