At TJX we want YOU, we are offering you the opportunity to join us as an IT Apprentice. You will gain a Level 3 Informational Communications qualification whilst working in a fast paced, energetic, and diverse IT Operations Team. Apprenticeships give you the chance to earn whilst you learn!
Your studies will be with The Apprentice & Training Partnership. The ATP has extensive experience in technology-based apprenticeships including IT, Infrastructure, Software, Business Analysis, Data Analysis and Cyber Security.
On successful completion of your studies, you will gain an industry-recognised Apprenticeship Standard.
Working within our IT End User Services function, the support that you provide will span both our Home Office and Store based user communities. You will assist our end users with a range of support activities across functions such as the Service Desk and Desk Side support, in addition to working within our various IT operations processes and continual service improvement initiatives.
You'll be working with friendly, passionate people. You will be supported by an IT buddy who will show you the ropes, plus you'll have a supervisor who will support you on your journey developing role relevant skills, knowledge, and behaviours. You will also be part of a cohort with other apprentices within IT, Finance and Buying.
Training via The Apprentice & Training Partnership will take place twice a month. 'On the job' training and learning will be delivered by us throughout the course within our Head Office and our Stores.
Our apprenticeship Programme takes approximately 18 months to complete, and this is where you'll get to experience Retail in real time, giving you the skills to develop and further your career. You'll be coached and mentored throughout our programme and by the time you've finished, you'll be ready to take on a role in IT Operations.
