An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Engineer for our client based in Telford. Working specifically with Continuous Feed within the Production Print Customer Experience Centre. This is a full-time permanent role offering a salary between GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 depending on experience.

This role will be actively promoting the capability of devices to customers and partners and will lead projects such as product transfers, equipment or process introductions and continuous improvement activities. Managing them on behalf of the business, to achieve the project objectives. The role holder will be responsible for applying knowledge to develop self, company resources and production processes.
About the role???.
* Liaising with the sales team and briefing stakeholders and partners to support product demonstration requirements which promote the capabilities of devices to customers, joining and actively engaging with them to understand their solution needs. Understanding market trends and expectations to enable development and delivery of real business solution
* Carry out investigation, development and evaluation testing activities within the area, making recommendations to the business for continuous improvement/ cost down. This will also involve feasibility studies, concept development, cost analysis, design proofing (theoretical and practical) and presentation of ideas to management, implementation of solutions (physical and procedural) and hand over
* Undertake investigations into daily SQCDE issues leading to root cause identification of permanent countermeasures, including design of experiment and tests for evaluation of product performance capabilities
* Plan and manage external resources and projects, recommending to management resource requirements to achieve project SQCDE targets
* Take responsibility for product and equipment installation, configuration, maintenance and repair
* Product/ equipment and operation process training
* Provide technical input into improvement of existing and future product design and developments
* Representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars etc.
About the person???.
You will be an innovative and motivated Engineer, ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline. With proven ability with Continuous Feed and/or Ink Jet Technologies, You will be experienced in Project Management or be able to demonstrate the ability to plan, set and prioritise own workload.
This role offers a salary between GBP35,000 and GBP40,000 and includes generous benefits which include profit related bonus, executive medical and private health cover. Such a truly brilliant opportunity to work with a global company!
