Role: Laboratory Technician
Location: Hawarden
Salary: GBP19,047.60 per year
Previous experience would be an advantage however, is not required as full training will be given. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled person, who is focused on providing excellent service, to develop their career in an international company.

Hours of work: Tuesday to Saturday - 5.00am till 1.00pm
Job description:
We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Technicians to work within the Logistics department in Hawarden. The successful candidate will be required to complete a range of tasks within the Logistics department to enable the effective and efficient receipt & registration and storage of samples into the business
Role Includes but not limited to:
To ensure that registration, preparation and splitting of samples is carried out as soon as possible after receipt to comply with sample stability times
To comply with the requirements of ISO 17025 & the Company quality management system
To pack sample/containers for distribution to customer or subcontractors via couriers
To carry out filtration of waste water samples
To rotate sample bottles and dispose of bottles after analysis
To ensure that the workstation/working environment is clean and tidy at all times
Washing of glassware
Processing of returns or waste for recycling/disposal
Requirements for the role:
3 GCSEs including English and Maths desirable
IT skills including knowledge of Excel, Outlook and the ability to use in house software after training
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Team working
Must be able to work accurately
Good communication skills
