Holt Executive has an exciting opportunity for a Production Controller to join a prominent design & manufacturing defence business based in Horsham, supplying a market-leading product range to the Naval, Land and Security sectors.

This role will play a vital part in effective communication across the business, to make sure that sales orders are completed accurately and facilitate the environment for effective manufacturing. This is a highly dynamic business and offers a diverse and engaging workload.

Key responsibilities for the Production Controller - Defence:

Help to ensure that all projects are carried out efficiently, within cost and timescales along with quality of goods and services at all times.
Take sales order information to generate production requirements and planning to achieve time and cost criteria for projects.
Planning overall manufacturing requirements on a multi-project basis.
Organising kitting for shop built assemblies, ensuring kits are in suitable state for manufacture.
Liaising with the Supply Chain department for purchase of necessary components.
Facilitating delivery documentation with the Export department, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
Liaise with Production/Manufacturing Engineering on manufacturing procedures and problems.
Assist with generation of new procedure, methods and flow diagrams for the MRP system.Key requirements for this Production Controller - Defence role:

Experience working with a MRP/ERP system.
Manufacturing background.
Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Apply a logical systematic approach and good judgement in decision making processes.
