We are currently recruiting on behalf of industry leading warehouse and distribution specialist, delivering the most efficient, high-quality storage, distribution and logistics solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire several FLT Drivers for their busy site facilities based in Wisbech and March.
We are looking to speak with FLT Drivers who can demonstrate strong work ethic, commitment, along with willingness to contribute to the successful business:
Main requirements:
* Promote safe working practices in relation to Health and Safety.
* Forklift Truck Certificate, Counterbalance, Pivot, Flexi/Bendi trucks.
* Flexible approach to your hours and duties and professional in appearance.
* Flexible in approach to work and adaptable to fit into different teams and environments.
* Diligent attention to detail and attention to safety of themselves and others around the workplace.
* Ability to multi???task and work in a fast paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Chemical and Manual Handling Trained Desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading of goods from and onto vehicles.
* Taking delivery of goods and supplies.
* Storing, picking and preparation of goods.
* Assisting with stock taking as and when required and keeping accurate records.
* Use of the correct methods for manual handling.
* Use of automatic wrapper to correct procedure.
* Completion of relevant paperwork and use of IT based systems.
* Ensuring cleanliness of stock and warehouse (this includes cleaning spillages and damages as they happen or on discovery).
My client offers a competitive hourly rate, good working conditions and overtime when available. This a 'temp to perm' opportunity, with a permanent contract offered after the successful 12-week trial period.
Ideally you will have a knowledge and experience of warehousing and distribution to fulfil this role and responsibilities. Certified Forklift training license and minimum of 1 year experience working within a warehouse industry is a must. (MEWP) Scissor Lift Certificate would be desirable.
