We have recently been named as one of 250 UK's best workplaces for 'Well-being' and we are looking to recruit a highly motivated Product Photographer.
About the Role
We are seeking a Product Photographer to work within the Merchandising and Marketing department and are responsible for accurately photographing and editing a wide range of products for the Ironmongery Direct and Electrical Direct websites and catalogues. We have a modern, well-equipped photography studio, which now also houses a set designed for videography.
The team is dynamic, energetic and hardworking, which is vital within the fast-paced environment we work in. Through the supportive nature of the team we pride ourselves on encouraging and sharing best practices to enable each other to do the best job possible. Whilst we're professional and committed, it is also a fun, friendly and sociable environment to be in.
About the Accountabilities
Overseeing the photography plans for both Ironmongery Direct and Electrical Direct.
Working alongside the photography team to ensure consistency across all product ranges.
Managing/prioritising your own workload in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Management of the photography database and photography trackers.
Photographing, processing and editing a range of products for on and offline use with a strong technical skill set to deal with highly reflective products.
Other ad hoc photography duties including staff headshots and promotional campaigns.
Supporting the delivery of the Videography strategy, should experience allow.
About You
Proactive individual with good multi-tasking skills and highly organised to ensure they maintain an organised workflow.
Can complete tasks under pressure and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
A strong communicator with a positive attitude who is willing to take on challenges.
Proven ability to shoot high volumes of images and retouch imagery appropriately.
Excellent Studio lighting skills, knowledge of Nikon and Bowens would be preferable.
Sound experience of the Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop, and Capture One.
Minimum 2 years studio experience.
Experience in videography desirable but not essential
