Role: Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Operations Manager
BASE: Woking/Guilford
We are a large, expanding green and clean services providing company, we are interviewing for an Operations Manager to help run our grounds maintenance and facilities projects,
based around Guilford with business in the surrounding area and M3/M4 corridor but based around Guilford/Woking.
Role is very operational, managing the grounds maintenance and facilities contracts, ensuring KPIs are met, going to snr client meetings, writing reports and so forth and the right candidate
must be prepared to roll up their sleeves and help complete projects when necessary.
Completing site visits and being in the office maybe 2 days of the week. Knowledge and experience of man management with the ability to get the teams out to work on time and in budget.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Senior Client Meetings - Business Plan - Team Management - KPI's - Training & Development - Product Innovation - Reports & Analysis - Attend and contribute to Manager / Board Meetings -
Work alongside the team when required to maintain a ground roots understanding of the projects
Effectively manage the GM and Facilities operations to ensure they meet or exceed the targets set by the business. Ensure that the infrastructure is in place to enable operational delivery and to
respond quickly and effectively to change. Strive for continual improvement in performance.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Proven experience in GM/Horticulture and Facilities management.
Motivational and leadership skills.
Proven in-depth knowledge of delivering a high-end service with focus on quality of delivery and customer excellence.
High level of commitment and ability to work effectively under pressure.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with individuals and groups, both orally and in writing.
The ability to constructively challenge existing practices and put forward different methods of working to improve the Division as a whole.
Ambassador for the brand and for service innovation.
Creative approach to problem solving.
