I am currently recruiting for a Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor to work for a leading contractor and join their housing maintenance team.
This position will mostly be spent on site overseeing works within the North Kestevens borough.
This is temporary position for intially 3 months, possibly longer.
Hourly rate: GBP15 - GBP17 (salary is open to discussion for the right candidate)
As a Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor:
* You will take responsibility for supervising & auditing the completion of reactive works within properties
* Monitor the discipline and timekeeping of contractors' staff and labour in a defined work area, identifying any disciplinary action required and informing the relevant Lead;
* Ensure that works are completed to the highest standards and liaising with the clients when needed.
What we need from you:
* Relevant qualifications and/or experience relating to the Housing Maintenance & Repairs industry with experience in the social housing sector
* CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid at Work certification
* Asbestos awareness
* solid understanding and knowledge of current health and safety procedures, requirements and legislation operating on a construction site.
