An opportunity has arisen to join our successful federation at Stokeinteignhead Primary School, near Newton Abbot, as a KITCHEN MANAGER. Stokeinteignhead Primary School is very fortunate to be hugely popular in the community. The children, parents, staff and governors, together with the local community, are supportive and welcoming.
We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Manager as soon as possible at our, friendly village primary school. Under the direction of the Federation Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day catering operations providing a lunchtime hot meal service to the pupils and staff. Overtime will be payable for exceptionally busy occasions e.g. Christmas lunch!
You will be a committed and professional person with a welcoming personality. You must have previous experience of working in catering and have a good knowledge of food hygiene and preparation. A moderate amount of lifting is necessary as part of the duties will include taking provisions. A Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering qualification or equivalent will be required, however, training can be done in post if necessary.
