Operations Controller

Pinnacle Power designs, builds and operates community District Energy Networks and energy generation facilities which raise the standards of design, delivery and accountability within the energy sector. We work alongside local authorities and property developers to provide low carbon energy that is consistent and cost-effective for end users and supports the Government's targets to reduce carbon emissions.
The Role - Operations Controller
The Operations Controller will be responsible to track the delivery of these works and work closely with the finance team to make sure the works are billed appropriately to the various clients. They will need to be comfortable with commercial agreements, processing variety of different commercial rates dependant on the client, and able to verify quotes for labour, parts and specialist subcontractor works.
Duties/Key Responsibilities
•Overseeing chargeable works operations to deliver results and ensure works are accurately invoiced, from quotation to completion.
•Provide data and analysis to assist with the tracking of departmental KPIs.
•Responsible for External client reporting, working closely with our internal Contract Management team.
•Provide in depth analysis and reporting to assist Operations management with departmental budgeting, forecasting and financial performance.
•Supporting the Operations leadership team to understand performance, optimise efficiency and compliance related operational decisions.
•Working closely with the Operations co-ordinators to monitor and report on ongoing planned/corrective and reactive maintenance activities.
•Auditing operational data within our CMMS system for correctness, completeness and introduce process discipline as needed.
•Drive change, as needed, to ensure compliance, reviewing and delivering recommendations for continuous improvement both within our CMMS system, but also operational processes.
Skills Required
•Educated to degree level in either Business Management, Accounting, Finance or Data Analytics
•Demonstrable experience in similar operational data analysis role
•Strong to advanced analytical skills with Microsoft Excel / Power BI / SharePoint etc
•Advanced IT literacy skills, ideally with solid experience with CMMS/CAFM.
•Must be able to find advice and solutions for operational queries and provide reliable information
•Must possess strong organisation skills and an eye for detail
•Must possess strong interpersonal skills
•Good verbal and written communications skills in English are essential
•Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and work ethic
•Ability to learn and work in multiple systems simultaneously
•Must possess integrity and trustworthiness towards the company
•Genuine interest in the industry and eagerness to contribute to a developing department
