Domiciliary Field Care Supervisor - GBP20,000 pa plus on-call payments

As the Field Care Supervisor within the Domiciliary care branch in Calderdale, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the end service user is at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
You will be managing a team of carers and will need to be able to foster an 'open' working environment whereby employees can 'speak up' about their concerns.
You will be working alongside a team of carers, field care supervisors, and care coordinators to ensure the safe, effective, and quality delivery of care. Leading by example, you will be responsible for inducting and orientating new carers to the company and embedding them into your team.
As the Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe running of the service which includes effective management and oversight of medicines, care planning & risk assessments, reviews, observations, and competency assessments.
Part of your role will be to provide and oversee care staff delivering support/assistance as they accomplish daily tasks - including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom.
The ideal candidate for this Field Care Supervisor position in Calderdale:
* Previous team leader/supervisor experience in a domiciliary care environment
* Previous experience in delivering quality domiciliary care provision
* Strong multi-tasking/organisation skills and a great communicator both written and verbally
* Great listening skills to help support the end service users and carers
* Able to take responsibility to deliver safe, timely, quality care with focus and drive
* At least an NVQ level 3 qualification in health and social care or willingness to work towards
* Experience in writing/updating care plans and risk assessments and undertaking spot checks/audits
* Ability to work well with a Multi-Disciplinary team to continue to provide safe and effective care for the end service users
* Previous experience of inducting and training new employees
