This ERP global giant is looking for an Implementation Consultant to work on the Procurement to Pay, Purchase to Pay and large-scale Supply Chain areas of their comprehensive, modular, and integrated ERP solution. You need to have at least a couple of years' experience as an Implementation Consultant and to have worked with ERP solutions, or other software like supply chain, procurement, purchasing, inventory, Procure to Pay, EDI, e-commerce, construction solutions, Purchase to Pay, Builders Merchants solutions or similar.

The role is home based, but you will need to go into the office a couple of times a month, so you are likely to live within 2 hours commuting distance of High Wycombe. Salary is anywhere from GBP35 - GBP50k as they are happy to look at people with less experience, if it very relevant to the spec, plus a good car allowance and bonus scheme and private medical.

Ideally you will have some understanding of procurement and payment of goods and how software can automate these processes and lessen manual input. The ERP solution itself, covers all the usual areas including inventory, finance, warehousing, production, budgets, supply chain, job costing, asset management, purchasing and despatch. The Procurement to Pay and Purchase to Pay areas, sit in the Supply Chain modules of the software. You will be working with large scale traders, merchants, and ecommerce clients to look at their business processes and gather requirements, working with the developers to modify the software, and managing the implementation process from scoping to delivery. You will also work with the product team and advise on new areas that could be built, trouble shoot technical problems, and work on systems integration of other solution with the ERP solution.

The job offers a lot of variety and scope. They will cross train you to their ERP solution, you will have the chance to use your technical skills as well as business acumen, writing macros, doing some coding, and testing new releases.

Alongside your software implementation experience, it would be beneficial if you have some basic coding skills, knowledge of EDI or ecommerce, or the ability to write macros in Excel and XMI, and brilliant trouble shooting and analytical skills. A degree in Information Technology, Computing, Business Computing or Computer Science would also be a bonus.

Career opportunities here are outstanding; they have around 350 employees and you can move into project management, software development, pre-sales, account management or consultancy management in the future.
