We want an energetic, talented Support Consultant / Support Analyst with ERP, MRP, accounting or similar application support experience for this superb software business near Chesterfield. The job is mainly office based so you need to be commutable to the area, but there is flexibility for some home working each week. To GBP29k plus benefits, with a review after 6 months.

You will have experience of Application Support with some skills in ERP or similar application software, and knowledge of the accounting aspects such as how ledgers work, or a qualification like AAT would be very useful. An understanding of SQL would be a big bonus, as SQL is used daily to query data, but they can teach you this if necessary.

You will play a vital role as the first point of contact, and deliver a great support service to your clients, building up relationships and providing quick response via telephone, email, web chat and remote login, meeting your agreed SLA's, documenting issues, querying data through SQL, and making sure wait times are kept to a minimum.

They will invest heavily in your ERP product training and SQL training and give you a massive opportunity to progress, so they are expecting at least 12 - 18 months of ERP or accounting software support experience.

A background supporting Orderwise, Kerridge, Pinewood, Intact IQ, Sage 200, Pegasus Opera, Infor, Exchequer, Epicor, SAP Business One, Access Dimensions, Dynamics NAV / Business Central, Coda, COINS, PS Financials, SunSystems, or any other ERP type application or accounts software solution, or MIS solutions for trade would be perfect.

Their ERP software covers stock control, purchase and sales orders, finance & accounts, sales & marketing, warehouse management, mobile and e-commerce so knowledge of any of these modules will help you pick up the solution quickly. The clients love it as it is user friendly, full of great features and easy to use.

Great communication skills, a love of technology, experience talking to customers and good problem solving. Is essential. You have lots of enthusiasm, are keen to learn and can handle yourself well when the pressure is on. You believe in giving your clients the best customer experience you can and meeting SLA's.

Prospects are very good. The career option is to either stay in support and progress to 2nd and 3rd line if you prefer that, or move into software implementation, consulting and / or training - any of these options are open to you. Plus the boss is a great guy to work for.
