Job Title: Buyer (Incorporating relationship development)
Salary: Up to GBP35,000 + Huge bonus of GBP7,000+
Location: Semi Remote (1 day in the office)

This is a hybrid purchasing role, but incorporating relationship development within the company brand via the sales team. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in reducing key product shortages by secondary sourcing through our brand's customer group, and further afield. In doing so, you may also generate leads for the brands sales team and discuss inventory on both sides.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain trusting relationships with a portfolio of wholesaler clients, existing and new
* Gain a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements, and sell accordingly where appropriate
* Gain a thorough understanding of key customer products and brands in order to utilise this information when tenaciously second sourcing key product shortages.
* Understand customer chain of influence and be able to buy and sell to key decision makers through to branch staff as appropriate.
Key Competencies
Procurement experience within the electrical whoelsale and distribution market (Or anything similar)
Planning, prioritising and organisational skills
Communication skills, internally and externally
Respect for manufacturer, customer and colleague relations
Attention to detail
