Location: Warwick HQ / Haywood Road - Remote working

This Electrical Design Engineer position is aimed at those with experience of Electrical Design within the building and construction services world.
As the Electrical Design Engineer, you will be comfortable with producing detailed calculations for cabling and power required for IT and Telecoms equipment installations including UPS systems.
Responsible for all aspects of the preparation of Electrical documentation, you will also be responsible for the delivery of "design packages" and the implementation of designs for powering IT and mission-critical communication systems.
The Electrical Design Engineer also requires the ability to multi-task across several systems to ensure optimum power requirement is delivered to a specified resilience matrix.
Electrical Design Engineer - Typical Deliverables:
Responsible for the survey and design of Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems (up to 1000v A.C.), DC systems and UPS systems
Responsible for the verification of designs against all contractual requirements and relevant specifications
Responsible in providing material and equipment lists to support subsequent build phases of electrical systems for IT and Communications packages
Responsible for providing technical support to site-based resources / Engineers relating to installation and commissioning activities
Responsible for approving site test results carried out by internal or sub-contracted resource
Responsible for producing Health & Safety file documentation
Responsible for the development of economical costed solutions from the analysis of Client tender documentation.Electrical Design Engineer - Business Operations Skills:
?????????????????????Experience as a Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) on engineering projects or in a similar position in the design industry
Earthing and bonding arrangements for Low Voltage electrical installation on UK rail networks & LUL infrastructure
BS-5839 and BS-7671 IET wiring regulations aware / holder
Knowledge of computer aided design (CAD Design) packages for electrical design including Amtech and AutoCAD
Ability to write and review specific design documentation, packages and specifications
IT literate, with experience on MS Office applications.Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:
Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in the appropriate discipline
Depth and breadth of experience may be considered where these qualifications have not been attainedPreferred but non essential and equivalent qualifications will be reviewed:
