Acorn Recruitment is seeking a Hire Administration Team Leader for their client based in Tewkesbury. This is a full-time permanent position offering a starting salary of GBP24,000 pa.
Job Purpose
To ensure the smooth and continual running of the administration within the Skip Hire division.
The successful candidate:
* The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills as we pride ourselves on our high level of customer service.

* You must be able to work through a query and reach an end resolution

Job Responsibilities:

* Line management of Skip Hire administration staff with direct responsibility for all staffing issues within the Skip Hire administration team to include working rota, attendance and holiday authorisation.
* Manage and ensure the correct allocation of costs from purchase ledger invoicing with the introduction of Electronic Purchase Order Processing.
* Daily communication with Depot routers to ensure that adequate lorries, drivers and units are available for the timely delivery of all orders.
* Working with the Skip Hire Divisional Manager, Commercial Manager, sales team and Divisional Administration Manager to manage the periodic price/rate increase for Skip Hire customers.
* Preparing reports for the team as required.
* Work closely with the Skip Hire sales team to ensure customer requirements are met.
* To assist with the development within the division to ensure that processes are in place to achieve budgets and targets
* Review processes currently in place for remote depots (Avonmouth, Tewkesbury, Cardiff and Moreton Valence) to ensure compliance with company procedures and to assist with any proposals for improvements required.
* Continually review all administrative processes and systems in place and to assist with any proposals for improvements required.
* Receive and direct appropriately, incoming phone calls and emails for the ordering and supply of service
* Deal with invoice queries and requests for credits as delegated and prior to authorisation by the Divisional Administration manager
Working hours
Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
1 Saturday in every 4 (8am - 12pm)
You will, at times, be required to work unsupervised and on your own initiative.
