HR Systems and Information Officer
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Time: Full Time
Salary: GBP30,621 Per Annum
Expiry Date: Wed, 15 Jun 2022
Would you like to work in our first, dedicated HR systems role within a friendly, supportive team?
Are you passionate about HRIS, and equally at home working with users, databases and reporting?
Do you want the freedom to work from home, with the flexibility to work alongside colleagues at our locations whenever you choose?
We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working with complex data across a range of different systems.
If this sounds like you - please don't delay applying since we may consider applications on a rolling basis!
If you would like to be the go-to person for all things related to HR Information Systems, then this is the perfect time to join our organisation. With recent launches of Access HR and Vacancy Filler, we have enjoyed great success in bringing new efficiencies to our work. But we are at the very beginning of our journey, and we are looking for someone who wants to challenge themselves to manipulate data and interpret findings and provide recommendations to key stakeholders.
A fulfilling challenge awaits the right person. You will be empowered to develop our systems, introduce new modules and functionality, and support and train our users across all our departments. We're an ambitious charity (currently about 450 employees) supporting families, homeless and vulnerable people, and youth; and we're continually seeking to expand in size. Effective use of systems and reporting has never been more important to us.
This role will initially be home-based but we will be moving to a hybrid model of working in due course, with the opportunity to attend our sites in the Watford area combined with home-working. However, we will be happy to work around your own flexible working needs.
A Basic Disclosure check is required for this role.
Benefits:
We offer a lot more than the salary. As well as fulfilling work and lots of support from your manager, we offer a health cash plan covering medical, dental and optician costs, discounted local gym membership (or free membership at our St Albans gym!), a 24/7 GP adviceline (including video consultations), an employee assistance programme, numerous retail discounts, pension and life cover.
About us:
We are One YMCA, a registered charity and housing association delivering community-based services across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. As part of the work we do we help and support over 57,000 young people to belong, contribute and thrive every single year.
Seeking to ensure that every young person has an opportunity to develop fully in body, mind and spirit we operate large supported housing hostels, children's centres, community health clubs, community hubs, early years nurseries and a wide range of specialist youth services and clubs. Altogether, this equates to our team of over 450 amazing colleagues annually delivering over GBP23 million of high impact and valuable community services.
As good as that is, we've got even bigger ambitions and we want to do even more - our Mission 25 project aims to double our impact by 2025, and we are close to achieving this. We want to ensure that every person, young or adult, has a safe place to live and that they can develop to their full potential.
To apply:
Please read the job description on the vacancy listing on One YMCA's website first (you will be redirected once applying). When you apply, you will be asked to upload a CV and covering letter. Your CV should outline your relevant work experience and qualifications in detail.
Your covering letter should explain why you believe you are a close match to this role, and why you feel this organisation is right for your next move
