A new opportunity is available for an administrator to deliver office support across a range of duties for an established regional building contractor based in the East Leeds area.
The role is for an initial fixed term period of 9 months covering maternity leave; however, the expectation is to progress the role to a full-time position.
As detailed the role would be working within a busy construction / building environment, so exposure to this sector would be advantageous but not essential, where you will cover a range of administrative and office support-oriented tasks supporting the day-to-day function of the construction business.
These duties will include;
* Distribution and filling of documentation associated with building projects, live, and completed.
* Assistance in the production and duplication of documents as required for site teams.
* Good housekeeping of project files, drawings, and documents via internal IT file sharing system
* General office support duties, including mail, management of consumables etc.
* Provide support to the accounts team in periods of absence or peak periods.
* Providing some cover on reception, in the absence of the reception team.
Therefore, those who fit the following criteria would be of specific interest;
* Have a proven track record providing an office support / administration role within a fast-paced environment.
* Hold strong IT skills covering, Microsoft office and had exposure to file / document sharing systems and understand how to distribute docs / files via this method.
* Be comfortable communicating at all levels, as you will have interface with both office and site-based staff.
* Comfortable operating in a multifunctional role.
* Ability to work under minimal supervision and use your own initiative to get the job done.
