My client is recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join their Group in Warrington, Cheshire. The group has both insurance and law arms to the business.
This role will suit a forward thinking, proactive, results driven individual with passion and energy. The position on offer is a key role reporting into the Managing Director and the successful candidate will help shape the company marketing strategy, increasing our digital and market presence and size of following. You will take a pro-active and enthusiastic approach to your work happily absorbing sudden changes to plans and priorities as the business needs dictate.
Key Objectives
• Ability to deliver leading campaigns geared towards the relevant audiences, with strong digital and traditional channel experience in a B2B and B2C environment
• Manage projects, and people within the marketing team
• Lead marketing initiatives working with key internal stakeholders, driving collaboration
• Analyse consumer trends, target audiences and competitors and perform market research in order to build successful strategies that generate good ROI's
• Track and review all marketing activity to monitor the effectiveness and report to the managing director providing feedback and making recommendations.
• Managing, driving and reporting on the marketing initiatives calendar, incorporating seasonal or themed special offers. Writing compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of media where required.
• Keeping our online presence and websites up to date with strong SEO and working with the MD on PPC and the advertising budgets.
Duties:
• Oversee all digital marketing projects and day to day activities
• Keep Managing Director and other key team members informed of activities, results and forward planning changes
• Closely monitor all budget use to ensure budget limit is not exceeded and to ensure consistent and strong results
• Closely monitor all leads to ensure results are on target and adjust accordingly if not
• Be proactively involved in the delivery of short and long term digital marketing activity, including but not limited to: social media management, HTML email campaigns, SEO, PPC, measurement and reporting, POS & presentation design and event management
Personal Attributes & Skills required:
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a Communications or Marketing related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a marketing / digital marketing management role ideally within insurance or Law
• Demonstrated experience with experience of mailing platforms, Indesign, Word Press, Facebook Business Manager & Google Analytics
• Experience of leading a team
• Strong communicator, with exceptional relationship building skills
• Strong project, people and budget management skills
• Creative, imaginative self-starter who can bring new ideas to promote the business
