If so, Moxie People has just the role for you! We're proud to be working with one of the largest Housing Associations in South Wales in their search for GIS Technician to join their established Asset Management team.
About the role:
Working with the Associations' established Asset Management team, the GIS Technician will support with updating their GIS (Geographical Information System) and processes in line with new projects as they go live throughout 2022/2023.
You will be the subject matter expert within the team for the GIS System and its underlying data, providing advice to colleagues and partners in relation to geospatial technology and methods.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Working to update systems with correct information and configuring new forms
* Maintaining accurate energy data information
* Updating the Associations GIS while providing technical solutions to improve processes
* Create and update stock condition survey forms
What previous experience is required?
* Experience in using a GIS System in an Administrative capacity
* Excellent knowledge of GIS systems (preferably Cadcorp) to include creating and amending layers, importing and exporting data
* Excellent knowledge of MS Excel to include creating CSV files.
* Understanding of Ordnance Survey data
