A community orientated Risk practice is seeking to recruit a Senior Risk Consultant to their team.
This is a fast-growing team and they have made about 15 hires over the last 12 months, taking the team up to 31.
There is a real team ethos which is driven by the Head of Risk and serval sector focused Risk Leads. What this means for you is regular communications, sharing of best practice, lots of workshops and tool creation.
Sitting within the wider PMO discipline you will get the opportunity to work on a variety of multi-sector programmes across the UK and, if it's your thing, the World. The type of programmes and projects the business wins are typically high profile, complex and high value.
What will you be doing?
Your initial role will be to support a key Client with the provision of risk process implementation across a large highways project, with an estimated value of approaching GBP1billion. Scope will include several new junctions, road links, road over road bridges, road over rail bridges and a 10-mile dual carriageway.
You will support the risk, opportunity, trend and change committee (ROTC) process and you will be responsible for undertaking QRA along with providing analysis and insights on the results.
What do you need?
A degree in Engineering, Construction or an equivalent suitable qualification.
Relevant experience within project management or project control environment.
A detailed understanding of risk methodologies, mitigation processes and techniques within an enterprise environment.
Good working knowledge of Active Risk Manager (ARM).
Experience of working on major construction or civil engineering programmes and projects
