We are currently looking to recruit Class 2 drivers who will be responsible for delivering to a schedule and working to timescales with multi drop experience.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* You will be delivering great food and other catering products to a huge range of customers. From
restaurants and pubs, to schools, care homes and hospitals,
* You will be helping the nation return to normality whilst still helping those in need.
* You will be delivering the goods often straight to the chefs and managers who make the orders
* You will be the one transferring the goods from your lorry to the customers on cages stacked with pallets.
* Some orders can be large, so it is a job with a real physical element.
Start times are varied
This role will involve some manual handling
Monday to Sunday
The successful candidate will require:
* In date CPC
* In date Cat C licence
* Digi-card
* Complete a driving assessment
* Multi Drop Exp
* Maximum of 6 Penalty Points for minor motoring offences (no DR / DD / CD / IN endorsements)
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS & REQUIREMENTS
* 28 days Paid Annual leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)*
* Online payslips
* Pension contribution
* Ongoing assignments
* Newly qualified drivers welcome
* Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
