A leading manufacturing company based in Worcester are searching for a Robot Operator to join their team on a Permanent basis working Monday - Friday, 14:00 - 22:00 which will start on day shifts for training. The company themselves are a leading manufacturer in their industry.
As a Robot Operator, you will be responsible for:
Setting up Machinery to ensure it is ready for the shift's tasks.
Load and unload materials manually or with hoists & cranes depending on the weight.
Ensures Welding, Drilling and punch operations are carried our correctly.
Inspecting Machines for Mechanical and Safety issues.
Ensure Machines are kept stocked up through the shift.
Maintain records on the shift productivity and performance.
As a Robot Operator, you will be required to:
Previous experience working as a Robot Operator will be essential.
Previous experience working as with Machines and in Manufacturing will be essential.
Ready and willing to work overtime when required by the business.
There will be a physical aspect to this role.
Happy to work independently and as part of a team.
This role of Robot Operator is working on a static shift working 14:00 - 22:00, Monday - Friday, but starting on days whilst training being paid GBP12.50 per hour with a 20% increase making it GBP15.00 per hour after 18:00.
