MechTech Professionals are looking for Workshop Administrator/ Coordinator for out Client in Avonmouth.

The Workshop Coordinator will support the multifunctional coordination needs within the fabrication workshop as well as support the wider Quality and HSE function for the management of our internal management system.

Detailed key responsibilities:

• Support audit requirements

• Support and design procedures, instructions, flowcharts etc. for the quality management system

• Support the Quality and HSE teams within the workshop

• Co-ordinating workshop operational procedures

• Liaise with key organisational stakeholders to coordinate the day to day running and functioning of the


• Managing the maintenance needs for the workshop floor

• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations to support the workshop requirements
• Support and coordinate logistics for the workshop (deliveries, exports, dispatch documentation, etc.)

• Supervising the office management duties (management of Business Administration function

for the company)

• Raising Purchase Orders for Workshop procurement

• Overseeing PPE and Training for the workshop floor team

• Supporting the workshop team with a thorough recording of information and filing of documents

• Rolling out and supporting the introduction of new software within the business

• Other ad hoc tasks to support the functioning of the workshop

• Supporting the Workshop Manager and Operations Director in the set-up of our second workshop unit.


* A Level (or equivalent) in English and Maths

* NVQ L3 in Business Administration (or equivalent qualification and/or experience

Our Client is looking for someone with excellent time management skills who is good at coordinating many tasks at once and has the ability to prioritize workload. It is essential for the candidate to have methodical approach to work, be proactive and self driven. Must have great communication skills and work well as a part of the team.

Technical skills:

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

* Experience in quickly learning new IT systems

* Verbal and written understanding of French (desirable)
