3rd Line Wintel Analyst
Modis are currently working in partnership with a market leading service provider to recruit an experienced 3rd Line Wintel Analyst to join their marketing leading team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team who can provided you with development and training opportunities with exposure to emerging technologies.
Please note this role offers hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office.
The Role
As a 3rd Wintel Analyst you will have a strong knowledge of designing, developing and deploying technologies on Windows Platforms.
The Responsibilities
Designing, developing and deploying of technologies on Windows Platforms
Offering solutions and workarounds to incidents/problems
Working to SLA's and deadlines
Review of services and application delivery
Prioritising and managing several tasks at a single time
Establishing a good working relationship with wider teams and customers alike
Keep up to date with advancements in technology
Work with a variety of customers to gain a detailed understanding of their requirements
Providing Remote On-Call Out of Hours Support (1 in 5)
The Requirements
Active Directory experience: Group Policy Objects (GPO), Forests, Domains, Domain Controller Roles, DNS, Permission Models, Delegation, Trust relationships, LDAP and Kerberos
DHCP
Microsoft Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016 & 2019) - including server core
Windows 10
Core Windows infrastructure components (DHCP, Windows failover clustering, etc.)
Designing, developing and deploying of technologies on Windows Platforms
Azure AD technologies including Azure AD Connect, ADFS, Azure SSO and PIM
Understands the interdependency between Active Directory and DNS
PKI, N-cyper and Certificate Management
Microsoft Identity Management (FIM/MIM)
Quest Tools (Active Roles, Change Auditor, Recovery Manager, InTrust, Password Manager)
Anti-virus technologies (McAfee ePO, ENS, VSE, HIPS and DLP, MS SCEP, Symantec SEP, etc.)
Server hardware including HP, Dell, IBM and Cisco UCS
Scripting (PowerShell, VB, etc.)
