Primary Tutor
Location: Exeter
Salary: GBP25 - GBP30 p/h

Job Summary For Primary Tutor
We are looking for a Primary Level tutor who can support with English skills (literacy, handwriting, spelling, phonics) and Maths skills (Times Table mastery, Numerical Reasoning, etc)
Student can range from Year 1 to Year 6. Occasionally, support with entrance exams to independent schools may be required

More About The Position Of Primary Tutor
You will be required to work 5 days a week, with groups of 6 children each hour providing catch up support. Working with groups from Year 1 to Year 6 helping support Literacy and Numeracy. Before the role starts, you will meet with the class teachers to see which groups require support in each area.

Our tutors must have a passion for teaching, must have the right temperament and patience to ensure they get the most out of their students.
Possess an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Good knowledge of the national curriculum
Have Experience Teaching Primary Education At All Levels
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.
Our Expectations Of Tutors Who Work With Us
Timely submission (within 48 hours) of tutoring session summary reports
Once matched to a student, you should commit to completing the tutoring programme that the client has signed up for (for example, a 24-hour tutoring package) to ensure learning continuity
