Pertemps are delighted to be working with our prestigious client who will be supplying accommodation to the athletes and support staff working on the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. We are recruiting for Cleaning and Housekeeping staff to ensure the athletes are housed in a clean and comfortable setting allowing them to focus on the Games itself.
You must be available, as a minimum, from 26th July until 8th August but this role has the potential to start as soon as the 9th July and run until 13th September. There are a variety of shifts available and flexibility is key:
Housekeeping shifts - (Apply online only) - Paying GBP10.25 per hour
Other opportunities are available for Cleaning Roles offering the following shifts:

(Apply online only) - Paying GBP10.25 per hour
(Apply online only) - Paying GBP11.25 per hour
Please note that assigned hours will be static and you will not be required to rotate. Our client will ensure that you are provided with a rota of the days you will be required to work for the duration of the games but you must be able to attend work on any 5 out of 7 days as required.
Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Housekeeping, within specified accommodation block
Changing of bed linen and towels
Hoovering, mopping
Dusting and cleaning of services
You will be required to complete paperwork to record work undertaken
Cleaning, Communal areas, toilets and temporary structures
Emptying bins
Mopping
Surface cleaning
All staff working on this project will be required to supply additional information in order for Commonwealth Vetting to be undertaken. Only when this has been completed and approved will you be able to commence work.
There will be NO facility for parking on site so you will be required to attend work using public transport HOWEVER, once cleared, you will have access to public transport at no cost to yourself!!
