MDE Group are currently working along side one of the UK's leading specialists in heat source technology in searching for a Quality Engineer. The company, based out of Cornwall, have over 20 years of experience in the market and are known for producing award-winning heat pumps. Our client aims to connect people in homes and businesses across the UK to cleaner, greener and cheaper heat.
As a Quality Engineer, you will work as part of a tight-knit Manufacturing Engineer team. You will be delivering all production-related engineering to ensure the production system delivers the needs of the company's business plan are met. You will be responsible for the investigation of customer and shop-floor quality non-conformances as well as supporting the implementation, maintenance and update of production quality management systems. You will actively support the maintenance and continual improvement of the business processes and operate quality monitoring procedures and process controls. The selected candidate will work with the purchasing team by managing supplier quality issues, returns and rejects. You will carry out internal audits in alignment with the quality management system and use the 8D process to resolve problems, with a relentless approach to identifying and eliminating root causes.
