Property Consultant | Colchester | Part-Time | GBP10.00 per hour

In this role, you will report to the Manager and Company Owner. You will be required to take a proactive role in the operation of a busy town office in a customer-facing role dealing with lettings and sales.
Your role will be mostly office based but partly also carrying out viewings at properties. This is a part-time vacancy and you will work Friday 09.00 to 18.00 with an hours lunch (this could be flexible if necessary for the right person) and Saturday 09.00 to 17.00 with 30 minutes lunch. Please note that Parking is available on a Saturday.

Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing high customer service
Clean Driving licence & own car (Ideal but not essential)
Good written communication and numerical skills to produce succinct and accurate correspondence
The ability to stay calm and focussed when in volatile and difficult circumstances
The ability to research, analyse and reason logically and effectively within conflicting and difficult situations
The ability to listen, process, and reason with people
Good verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group and internal staff.
Excellent IT skills including Word, and Excel skills
Experience working effectively in teams
Experience in the letting/estate agency industry would be beneficial
What will your role as a Property Consultant look like?
To carry out various roles in the town centre office dealing with people face to face as well as on the telephone on the letting and sales side of the business
To assist Gallant Richardson to implement Company policies and procedures to an agreed standard
To the best of their abilities perform & act in the best interest of the company and our clients
A commitment to providing excellent customer service
Covering sales and rental viewings
To be front of house in office dealing with incoming customers, answering incoming telephone calls, and dealing with incoming e-mails
Booking sales & rental viewings as well as valuations
Booking check-ins and check-outs with tenants
Taking applications from people wishing to rent a property and agreeing the let with landlords
Processing referencing and preparing files for new tenancies.
Making sure files are in order and ready for new tenants to move in
Management of the sales and rental database including periodic phone outs
Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied to required standards
Taking messages and helping the Property Management Team where necessary
General day-to-day administration and housing keeping
Covering check-ins and check-outs if needed
