We are looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader in the local area, this is a permanent and full time job with a base salary of up to GBP27,000, the opportunity to earn an extra GBP1,000 per year based on performance and comes with the opportunity to work overtime.
Also included are 29 days paid holiday per year (comprising four weeks standard holiday, 8 bank holidays and an additional day off for your birthday).
A company van is provided for you to be able to get to the yard in the morning from where you will travel to various sites across the area where you will be grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, brush cutting, leaf blowing and clearing litter as well as some landscaping tasks (planting and turfing) as required.
To be considered at Team Leader level you will need a minimum of 3 years grounds maintenance experience, if you have been in charge of a team (can be only one other), or have had responsibility for your own round then you can be considered as a Team Leader.
We are also recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative in this area which is paying upto GBP23,000 per year, plus opportunity for GBP1,000 extra a year based on performance and the opportunity to do overtime. At Operative level you need to be able to get yourself to the yard each day so a driving licence and transport is a must
