MIG Welder
GBP22,900 to 29,400 dependant on experience

We are recruiting for a successful manufacturing company, specializing in the supply of Aftermarket Catalytic Converter Systems to the Automotive Market, throughout the UK and Europe.
As part of our continued expansion, we now require several reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team of MIG Welders, fabricating both front pipe and catalytic converter assemblies, for a complete range of modern vehicles.
Training provided so will consider recently qualified Welders
Key Responsibilities
* Assembling parts for welding from jigs.
* Welding of both front pipe and catalytic converter assemblies, using MIG welders.
* To weld parts in line with production targets
* To always observe company health and safety policy and rules
* To follow instructions set out by your line manager
* To report any defects to your line manager prior to commencing work
* To perform other ad hoc duties as required
* To always keep the workplace clean and tidy
Skills:
* Must have skill and experience of working with mild and stainless-steel applications to a high-quality finish.
* Must have a skill in intricate welding. Perform, both outer and inner welds.
* Ability to work to tight production targets and KPIs. Therefore, speed along with precision is essential.
* Be able to understand and carry out instructions
* Ability to work as part of a team
Must have welding experience or be recently qualified at level 3 or above.
It is a 40-hour week with 3 shift patterns available (your choice) working Monday to Friday:
* 7:15- 16:00
* 9:15-18:00
* 7:15-18:00 4-day week (rota day off changes per week - when staff get the Friday off, they get the Monday off too!)
