Our Blue Chip Manufacturing Client has a rare temporary opportunity for an experienced Printer to join their Manufacturing Team making home textiles.
The company offers a great salary, excellent working conditions long term plus holiday pay and weekly pay ! Lockers and safe car parking are also provided.
In return your Key Duties are:
* Set up the Printing Machine to achieve job spec and maximum efficiency
* Ensure that the product is comparable to the match piece
* Work to Production Targets
* Ensure that all quality checks are carried out and all required paper work is completed.
* Maintain quality of product ensuring correct labelling and packaging instruction.
* Monitor waste and attempt to reduce it.
* Ensure the Computer System is kept up to date with machine performance and any downtime and waste.
* Identify and report any faults that require either the involvement of the Unit support manager or the maintenance department
* Clean machine during and at end of shift and general house keeping including emptying waste baskets
Specific training will be given but experience of operating printing machinery is essential.
