Nursing Home Manager required in Chester, Cheshire
GBP55,000 Per Annum
Full Time - 40 Hours Per Week
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursing Home Manager!
We are currently working with an excellent care provider to find an experienced Home Manager to join their team in Chester, Cheshire. The provider is a very established organisation, who have homes throughout the Cheshire & Wirral area. Each home has a beautiful, modern finish, with excellent facilities to create a comfortable and positive environment. They are renowned for providing the highest standards of care for all service users and have created a very detailed support system which allows for all staff members to develop and maintain the high standards that have been set.
Our client is looking for an individual who is passionate and determined in managing a home with the same positive and supportive ethos. They are also looking for an approachable and caring candidate to fit into their wonderful team of staff.
Our client prefers to hire experienced management; therefore, you will need to have at least 2 years experience working within a Nursing Home or have a valid RGN / RMN qualification. Despite this, our client is happy to review Deputy Managers, who would like to make the next step in their career. Despite the Nursing Home Manager position being a senior role;
you will also need to be prepared to have a hands-on approach to the clinical aspects of the home, when needed. The role will include the management of the home, coordination of the staff, recruitment, assessments, and appraisals. Given the high quality of care that is provided, you will also need an extensive knowledge of CQC regulations to ensure the compliance of the home is strong.
Key Requirements and Skills:
At least 2 years experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Deputy Nursing Home Manager
A valid RGN / RMN qualification
Extensive CQC regulatory knowledge

Excellent clinical skills
UK Driving License
