Based in Ealing, moving to Chiswick

A highly successful global lighting control system company within the entertainment industry based in Ealing ( moving to Chiswick), is looking to recruit for a HR Manager to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a new role due to company growth so a great time to join.
The role will be reporting to the HR Director ae are seeking an experienced HR Manager to strengthen the People & Governance department. Working in a close-knit team, you will be calm, adaptable and have a real commitment to supporting the people who work here.
Core elements of the role will involve supporting line managers in the UK and in our international offices. You will oversee an increasing programme of recruitment and develop strategies to sustain excellent employee retention. You will have strong generalist HR experience, and a track record of managing a small team. The current team includes specialist expertise in Learning and Development, Governance and Law.
Key Responsibilities
acting as a key contact with line managers, offering guidance and support
over-seeing recruitment and on-boarding, taking a hands-on approach
supporting some elements of payroll administration
co-ordinating pension administration and compliance
resolving complex or sensitive employee issues
supporting our international offices in the US and Asia
overseeing and updating our range of company policies
deputising for the Director of HR in selected meetings
managing the workflow between HR team membersEssential Attributes
A minimum of 2 years' experience at HR Manager level
Experience line managing and developing others
An understanding of payroll and experience using a payroll system
Experience of pensions administration and reporting
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
The ability to influence and engage others, building high-trust working relationships
CIPD qualified (minimum level 5 plus experience)
Experience conducting interviews and overseeing selection processes
Competency using Quickbooks payroll system, or similar advantageous
Familiarity with PeopleHR ATS and HRIS, or similar advantageousBenefits:
