We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Sous Chef to join a prestigious Caf??/Restaurant based in a beautiful garden centre on the outskirts of Ipswich. If you live and breathe the hospitality trade and you want a great chance to take your career to the next level in this renowned Caf??/Restaurant, this could be the job for you!
This well-loved Caf??/Restaurant is located within a very popular garden centre, and is very well known for its fantastic food and customer service. They cater for high volume, and are always a busy, bustling venue. They are only open during the day, and generally you would get one weekend day off each week.
The Venue:
This popular caf?? is set in a small picturesque village in the beautiful Essex countryside, and attracts a large customer base to enjoy the traditional seasonal menu with modern British influences.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a talented Sous Chef with a strong kitchen background working with fresh food in a busy environment, who is looking for the opportunity to develop within the team.
You will be working in a small kitchen brigade of 2/3 chefs, you will have good all round kitchen experience, being able to run the pass in the absence of the Head Chef.
As Sous Chef, you will ensure the food is produced to a consistently high standard at all times, assisting the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen, whilst keeping the fridges clean and organized, and food labelled and rotated as well as ordering stock and handling deliveries.

* Straight shifts (7.30am - 4.30pm)

A car driver is preferred, due to location.
