Our client is a successful Fuel Tanker haulage company operating throughout the UK. Due to continued success and growth, they are now looking to recruit a Transport Administration Coordinator/Planner to join their Regional office team in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire.

What will I be responsible for?

Reporting into the Transport Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all administration functions are delivered to a high standard in accordance with customer requirements and company targets. This will be a dual role encompassing both administration and development into planning / scheduling. Main responsibilities:

Monitoring and tracking deliveries to ensure deliveries are in accordance with the schedules.
Responding to all customer and company administration requirements receive and action calls from drivers and customers in a timely and professional manner.
Reporting and dealing with any issues/queries that may arise
Identify improvement for cost reductions
Assist the Transport Manager and Supervisor with driver / vehicle planning and paperwork.Could this be the ideal role for me?

If you have previous experience of the transport industry, this could be the ideal role for you. The successful applicant, will also need the following skills and competencies:

Business standard IT skills (MS Office).
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Have a good use of intuition and problem-solving skills for productive outcomes.
Good self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work on your own and under pressure.Shift Pattern:
