We are looking for a Retail Pricing & Communications Administrator to work for a large growing organistation in St Albans.
JOB PURPOSE
Deal with all CM pricing, product and system enquiries in a polite effective manner.
Support the effective price strategy & product range initiatives
Provide effective and consistent retail support to our business partners
To assist the Pricing and Communications Manager in developing the pricing strategy across our estate.
To assist the Head Office EPOS System and development programme
Ensure accuracy of pricing data required by the business.
Ensure period promotions are set-up correctly.
Support the Retail Pricing Manager in delivering the Company s objectives
Deputise for the Pricing and Communications Manager in their absence.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Managing the Retail scanning helpdesk, responding and answering pricing, product and system enquiries in effective and timely manner
Maintaining the Group pricing database to ensure that price changes and new product lines are implemented in a timely and accurate manner.
Supporting the Pricing and Communications Manager to plan and deliver retail development programme communication.
Support the Pricing & Communications Manager to development our EPOS system.
Providing timely and accurate query resolution to minimise product of sale times
Working effectively with key stakeholders in and outside of the organisation.

This is an office-based position however from time to time the role will involve travel.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience of working in a retail sector, preferably also the forecourt sector although not essential.
Confident in using Excel, including using basic formulas, pivot tables and V Look Ups & manipulate high volumes of data
Self-Motivated and can work independently to plan, organise & prioritisation workload
A good communicator with all audiences and levels.
High level of accuracy / excellent attention to detail
To start with the role is liekly to be 3 days in St Albans head office and 2 days working from home, with a view to moving to 4 days office wrking and 1 day from home. There may also be a small amount of travel involved so a driving liecense is necessary.
