I am recruiting for a Production Supervisor for a global leader in the supply of class leading services to the offshore industry - equipment rental, product sales, support personnel, instrumentation calibration, cable moulding and bespoke engineering solutions.
This company designs and manufactures a wide range of industry leading Electronics and Electro-mechanical technology primarily for use in the offshore marine sector.
Due to continued growth within the company, my client is looking to recruit an experienced and very capable Production Supervisor / Line Manager to work within their production team in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervision of the production engineering team
Mentoring & tutoring employees and apprentices
Liaison between production team and other departments, sales, management, R&D etc
Monitor and implement quality controls, build procedures and working practices
Requirements:
Extensive engineering knowledge, electronic, electrical & mechanical
Electronics manufacture and test to component level
Fault finding and repair
Technical reporting and support
Excellent time management and communication skills
Working to high standards of quality
Knowledge of the offshore marine sector would be advantageous; however, training will be provided. In depth engineering knowledge is essential.
