GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Tewkesbury for a number of skilled mechanical fitters/assembly operatives on temporary-to-permanent (candidate dependant) basis.
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Tewkesbury area.
Pay
* Payrate of GBP12.82 per hour
Hours
* Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 15:30, Fridays 07:30 - 15:00
Role
Working within this role your standard duties will include:
* Fitting pre-fabricated parts into frames as per client specifications including mechanical parts, pipework, electrical components and more
* Problem solving and on-the-spot thinking
* Liaising with the rest of the team
* Assisting in other departments where necessary
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with:
* Previous manufacturing experience
* Previous assembly/mechanical fitting experience
* A flexible approach to undertaking various tasks within the business in the business
* A diligent approach to health and safety practices
* Good spoken and written English skills
* Some of your own tools would be ideal (these would be replaced if damaged/worn out due to work)
