Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-established timber merchant based in Richmond Upon Thames, who are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager.
This is a permanent position paying between GBP28,000 - GBP32,000, plus annual bonus.
The Role:
Working alongside the Branch Manager
Helping to drive forward the sales and profitability of the business
Supporting, motivating, and leading a team to deliver excellent branch standards
Developing both new & existing business relationships
Maximising sales
Looking for new and exciting ways to drive sales
Accountable for maximising lead conversion by being proactive with customer contacts, enquiries and quotes
Creating a culture that delivers customer satisfaction
Ability to Solve Problems and offer solutions
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm and every other Saturday 8am to 1pm
Candidate Requirements:
Must have prior supervisory experience
Knowledge and experience in the merchant or timber trade
Must have merchant/timber product knowledge
Proven track record of striving to achieve own and company goals/targets
Highly motivated, enthusiastic with excellent communication skills
Strong communication skills
UK driving licence
