Role: Financial Accountant - Compliance

Due to internal promotion, we now have a new opportunity for a proven Financial Accountant, who focuses on Compliance, to join our highly collaborative finance function to ensure all aspects of Company Compliance are adhered, including Statutory Accounts under IFRS, Sarbanes Oxley controls, balance sheet control and all other statutory submissions.

What you will be doing...

Produce statutory accounts under IFRS for Ricoh UK, Ricoh Ireland and various other group companies

Perform twice yearly Sarbanes Oxley testing and enforce any changes that arise from this

Collate tax information for completion of the annual tax return for Ricoh UK and other Group companies

Review and submit VAT returns for various companies

Maintain tight control over the Ricoh UK and Ricoh Ireland balance sheets

Liaise directly with our insurers regarding our annual renewals and any claims that arise

Coordinate returns to the Office for National Statistics and HMRC

Facilitate the Group reporting around large deals

Provide ad hoc reports, duties and projects as required

You will ideally have...

Sound financial knowledge - ACA / ACCA qualified within and Accounting Practice

Experience of producing IFRS Accounts and Sarbanes Oxley understanding

The ability to interpret balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and cost centre analysis for multiple operating companies

Knowledge and experience of VAT accounting is preferred but not essential

Oracle knowledge is preferred but not essential

Excellent verbal / written communication skills and the ability to communicate to all levels within the organization

Ability to work under pressure and prioritise conflicting workloads
