Your New Organisation
You will have a fantastic opportunity to work for an organisation manufacturing rolling stock & plant machinery in an manufacturing assembly environment offering scope to be upskilled and gain NVQ's and technical progression.
Your New Opportunity
You will have the opportunity to join a team working on different projects - the opportunity for the right person is a permanent appointment with all of the great company benefits that you would expect working for a worldwide rail engineering production organisation.
You will be responsible for making sure all work is carried out to the highest standard and to the standards set by the organisation.
Person
You will have previous experience in a heavy engineering or precision engineering environment.
You will ideally understand electrical assembly principles in a production workshop.
You will ideally understand panel wiring principles
You will understand electrical assembly, wiring principles, electrical panels, crimping, mounting assemblies onto the final build, cabling and wiring looms, testing and fault finding
You will ideally have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in an electrically biased subject however this is not an essential requirement for the role.
Its essential that you have a minimum of 5 years experience in an electrical role.
Must be able to read engineering wiring diagrams and schematics
Must be able to use a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Must be used to operating lifting equipment.
You will be a team player, able to work collaboratively with others, you will also be able to work independently on mechanical tasks when left to work on your own.
This vacancy is an immediate requirement and immediate start is available for the right candidate.
