Garage & Workshop Interior Designer
GaragePride Ltd was established in 2007 and is one of the leading providers of garage cabinets, floor tiles and wall storage solutions in the UK. We are a small team that is on a journey of growth.
We help our clients to utilise the space in their residential garages and commercial workshops by designing storage and flooring solutions to suit their requirements.
The Interior Designer role will be responsible for creating the design concepts using Sketchup and will involve telephone and virtual communication with the clients to discuss and identify their needs. Once the design has been prepared then you would create a quotation for the designed concept, which is then taken forward by the sales team.
The role may suit applicants with previous experience as a kitchen designer, or other similar design roles where Sketchup was used.
The role:
* Manage the design process from start to finish
* Work with the sales team to ensure you understand the client's exact needs, in terms of design specifications, budgets, and timescales
* Provide a range of design solutions using the available products, working with factories/suppliers where necessary to ensure the design concept is accurate and implementable
* Revise designs and update quotations based on client feedback
Experience:
* Sketchup to an advanced level
* Creating rendered outputs using Sketchup tools
Requirements:
* Enjoy contact with customers
* Organised, ability to work to correct versioning protocols
* The ability to introduce process improvements is a distinct advantage
* Ability to take the initiative is essential
The role is office based at Blacknest, GU34 4PZ and is available for an immediate start
