Afternoon Hospital Cleaner
Job Title: Hospital Cleaner

Working Days/Hours:
This is on an ad hoc basis and days will be discussed with your line manager.
1pm to 7pm (can be flexible 3pm to 7pm etc)
**Please note you must be willing/happy to carry out cleaning to control infection in a specialist Mental Health hospital wards
Pay:
* GBP10.69 PAYE Hol Inclusive per hour (Mon-Fri)
* GBP12.73 PAYE Hol Inclusive per hour (Saturday/Evenings)
* GBP15.63 PAYE Hol Inclusive per hour (Sunday/Bank Holidays)
Key Responsibilitie
* Carry out cleaning to control infection in specialist Mental Health hospital wards
* Deep cleaning wards and other areas of the hospital
* General cleaning and tidying up of rooms
* To ensure the environment is cleaned in line with national cleaning standards.
* Maintaining stock levels of cleaning products
* Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and employees
* Replenishment of toiletries and cleaning products as and when required
Experiences, Skills and Qualifications
* Cleaning/Housekeeping
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
* Knowledge of COSHH and infection control (desirable, however, not required)
* Punctual and reliable
* Willingness to clean within a Mental Health Hospital
* Happy to work within a healthcare environment which offers a range of Mental Health Services
To successfully commence employment, you will be required to:
* Register with Your World Healthcare and become fully compliant (prior to commencing employment)
* Hold a clean valid-in date enhanced DBS dated in the last 12 months or a valid in-date DBS registered with the update service (if held by a third party) to commence employment successfully. If you do not yet hold an enhanced clean DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months or a DBS registered with the update service (with photographic evidence of this) - you will be required to apply for a new DBS as part of your application. This can be applied for via Your World Healthcare.
* Provide professional employment/educational references covering the last 3 years.
